Untie Me Lyrics

Not too long ago
You said you'd love me till the end
But lately you're indifferent
And I can't even be your friend
If I'm really such a bore
And you don't want me any more
Leave my heart
So I can love againSo, untie me (Untie me, untie me)
Untie me, baby (Untie me, untie me)
You're not ever there when I need you
You don't care where I go or what I do
So untie me (Yeah-yeah, yeah, you, untie me)
Untie me, baby (Yeah-yeah, yeah, you, untie me)Well, if you've found a new love
I won't put the blame on you
But just give me a chance
To start my life anew
If you're really gonna go
I want to be the first to know

So break these chains
That bind my heart, you
So, untie me (Untie me, untie me)
Untie me, baby (Untie me, untie me)
You're not ever there when I need you
You don't care where I go or what I do
So untie me (Yeah-yeah, yeah, you, untie me)
Untie me, baby (Yeah-yeah, yeah, you, untie me)
You better untie me (Yeah-yeah, yeah, you, untie me)
So, baby, come on (Yeah-yeah, yeah, you, untie me)
Come on and untie me (Yeah-yeah, yeah, you, untie me)
Woo-ooh...

Manfred Mann were chart regulars in the 1960s, and the first south-of-England-based group to top the US Billboard Hot 100 during the 'British invasion' of the US music scene. Beginnings 1962—1963
