Untouchables Lyrics

You and me have a passion escaping the days that go by
Just our desire
Patronize a secret painted salon
Let us talk about the live, where the skins aren't outBut it was okay
It was all right
We were, we wereThe untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)
The untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)You and me while we're waitin' on a corner share a packet of two
With all the fools to save us
We laughed and cried, split our sides
At what they told usBut it was okay
It was all right
We were, we wereThe untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)
The untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)I've colored my life blue and ice diamonds are the line of my life
But time strikes against us

It takes some of us home
Will pick our souls, turn up in you, while it sets me freeAll things young and you
What'll I do, When you're gone tooIt'll be okay
It'll be all right
If I believe tonight, if I believe, we're right
And then I'll be, then we'll really beThe untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)
The untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)The untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)
The untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)The untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)
The untouchables, tonight
(Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo)

The core members of Generation X, a seminal British punk rock band with heavy new wave and power pop influences, were singer-songwriter Billy Idol (who has since maintained a remarkable 30+ year solo career) and bassist Tony James (later of Sigue Sigue Sputnik and for a spell Sisters of Mercy before settling in Carbon/Silicon). Generation X was formed in 1976 after guitarist Billy Idol (a.k.a William Broad) and bassist Tony James decided to go out on their own, leaving Gene October, the leader of their then band Chelsea.
