"Unutmabeni" Çiçeği - Anjelika Akbar

Anjelika Akbar (Born as Anjelika Rosenbaum in 1969 in Karaganda, Kazakhstan) is a Turkish professional musician/pianist. She began playing piano at the age of 3 and writing songs as well as performing on the stage at the age of 5.

She is the only child of a musician and philosopher father of Jewish heritage and a musician mother of Turkish descent and nationality.

She studied for eleven (11) years at Tashkent's National Uspensky Music School. In 1993 she became a Turkish citizen and received her Master's degree from the Hacettepe National Conservatory in Ankara.

She was an instructor (1997-1999) at the State Conservatoire in Ankara University. Since she came to Turkey she has had concerts in Central Asia, Baltic states, Russia, India, Germany and Turkey.
