Up on the Ridge Lyrics

Up on the ridge, I seen a rider passin' by
Up on the ridge, I seen a rider passin' by
I heard thunder in the distance
I seen the lightning in his eyeUp on the ridge, I gotta tangle with my fate
Up on the ridge, I gotta tangle with my fate
Details must be dealt with
Before the hour gets too lateUp on the ridge there's a highway headin' home
Where the ramblin' men must leave their sin
Up on the ridgeUp on the ridge, there's a fire about to burn
Up on the ridge, there's a fire about to burn
When the sun sets on the lowlands, only one of us will returnUp on the ridge, there's a highway headin' home
Where the ramblin' men must leave their sin
Up on the ridgeUp on the ridge, there's a highway headin' home
Where the ramblin' men must leave their sin
Up on the ridge, yeah

He knew everything about it. And Butch was from the folk world. I was kinda the rock & roll guy, and we almost had a triad. We hit it off and started playing a lot together.
