Urge - Aaron Kaufman

Aaron Kaufman is a folky-jazzy-poppy singer/songwriter. After growing up in Connecticut and going to Carleton College in Minnesota, Aaron moved to Houston to work with the Arts in Medicine program at the Texas Children's Hospital in the Cancer Center. Aaron's songwriting and performances have garnered national attention including being named one of the winners of the 2008 BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship as well as winning the NPR Whad’Ya Idol Competition. He likes peanut butter, LOST, Garamond font, writing songs about boats, and green tea.
