Under his own name and as Surface 10, California electronic artist Dean DeBenedicits has created dark ambient soundscapes since 1996 and the appearance of his-self titled deput on Hypnotic. Other projects have included a collaboration with George Sarah as Cathexis and music for television, including the series Matlock and Columbo.
