Venus Lyrics

Hey, Venus, oh, Venus
Venus, if you will
Please send a little girl for me to thrill
A girl who wants my kisses and my arms
A girl with all the charms of youVenus, make her fair
A lovely girl with sunlight in her hair
And take the brightest stars up in the skies
And place them in her eyes for meVenus, goddess of love that you are
Surely the things I ask
Can't be too great a taskVenus, if you do
I promise that I always will be true
I'll give her all the love I have to give
As long as we both shall liveVenus, goddess of love that you are
Surely the things I ask
Can't be too great a taskVenus, if you do
I promise that I always will be true
I'll give her all the love I have to give
As long as we both shall liveHey, Venus, oh, Venus

Make my wish come true

Frankie Avalon born Francis Thomas Avallone (born 18 September 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) was an American actor, singer and teen idol in the 1950s and early 1960s. By the time he was 12 (1951), Avalon began making appearances on U.S. television for his trumpet prowess, and as a teenager, played with Bobby Rydell in a band known as Rocco and the Saints. In 1959, his songs "Venus" and "Why?" both went to number one on Billboard magazine's Hot 100. Indeed, "Why" was the last #1 hit of the 1950s.
