Venus Lyrics

Down to the river yesterday
To see just what she'd say
Said you best believe
The bed of a creed was always on its wayFind the nine commandments stone
Follow me to the sea
You best believe that the bed of a creed
Was where it was meant to beVenus came to share
She's standing there
Braids her hair with threads of gold
Two threads of goldAnd I'm up on a chair
With the badge in the air
Keeping out the cold
Keeping out the cold
I'm afraid by the loner sea
Lit by the moons in me
Why must I always be drawn
To the brightest shadows I can see?Find the nine commandments stone
Follow me to the bay

You best believe that the bed of a creed
Was where it was meant to beVenus came to share
She's standing there
Braids her hair with threads of gold
Two threads of goldAnd I'm up on a chair
With the badge in the air
Keeping out the cold
Keeping out the cold
All that we can do is learn the laws of the trellis
To better understand the road
All that we can do is learn the laws of the trellis
To better understand the roadIsn't that right now? Isn't that right now?
Isn't that right now? Isn't that right now?Isn't that right now? Isn't that right now?
Isn't that right now? Isn't that right now?
