Viva la Rock 'n' Roll Lyrics

Viva la Rock n Roll
Paris is the city of the dead hero
Tomorrow spend down in a bar
Tonight I prefer 1971
Viva la Rock n Roll
Paris is the city of the dead hero
Poor old Jim was much good for a laugh
His sound recording was a lot of fun
Ques que se what people say
Paris is a wonderful city on 40 Francs a day
Ques que se what people say
Paris is a wonderful city on 40 Francs a day
Viva la Rock n Roll
Paris is a city of influence
Arthur Rimbaud spoke to me

Through New York's New wave
Viva la Rock n Roll
Paris is the city of influence
I walk her in the antidote
People are made of Technicolor milk
Ques que what people say
Paris is a wonderful city on 40 Francs a day
Ques que what people say
Paris is a wonderful city on only 40 Francs a day
Viva la Rock n Roll
Paris is the center of the Universe
Oh young Tony trust nobody fools
was really the real thing
Viva la Rock n Roll
Paris is the center of the universe
I've lots of love for walking street
and poor old Tony change these times
Ques que se what people say
Paris is a wonderful city on 40 Francs a day
Ques que se what people say
Paris is a wonderful city on 40 Francs a day
Forty Francs a day
Forty Francs a day
Forty Francs a day
Oh oh oh oh oh
oh ....
oh...
oh...

Alternative TV were an influential British punk band formed in London in 1976. As the founding editor of the pioneering Sniffin' Glue fanzine, Mark Perry gained attention in the British punk scene. He formed the band whilst producing the fanzine, although eventually diverted his energies solely to this band. Key members of the band were Perry and Alex Fergusson, who described their music as "closest to Can and reggae-type rhythms," and were generally more innovative and experimental than many of their peers within the punk scene at that time.
