Wait On the Lord Lyrics

Wait On The Lord
by Jimmy Fisher
Verse:
Teach me… all of your ways
Oh Lord Lead me… in a path that’s straight
Let me not… fall by the way
And deliver me… from my enemy
I would have fainted, had I not believed
That I would see your goodness in the land
Though I may not always see your face
I can always trust your hand
Chorus:
Wait on the Lord
And be of good courage
He shall strengthen thine heart

Wait on the Lord
And be of good courage
Wait I say on The Lord
Wait I say on The Lord
Verse:
Do not, hide Your face
Oh Lord Please don’t… turn me away
When my Father… and Mother are gone
Oh Lord lift me up… in your loving arms
I would have fainted, had I not believed
That I would see your goodness in the land
Though I may not always see your face
I can always trust your hand
Chorus:
Vamp:
I will wait… I will wait…
I will wait… wait I say on the Lord
