Waiting for Your Love Lyrics

How can I explain
The sorrow and my pain?
I believe that you and I should be
Together once againEvery night I pray
That you'll come back to me
But the tears keep falling down my face
When you're not aroundBut now you're gone
Gone away
All I do is wait for you
Each and every dayBut now you're gone
Gone away
All I do is wait for you
Each and every dayOh, I'm waiting for your love
I'm wondering where you are
Are you with another guy?
Are you showing him your world?Oh, I'm waiting for your love
I want to see your smile
Brighten up my day

Yes, I'm waiting for your love
Yes, I'm waiting for your loveMany sleepless nights
I've waited by the phone
I'm wondering where you are tonight
If you're all aloneIf I had another chance
I'd never let you go
My heart's been broken in two
And it's all because of youNow you're gone
Gone away
All I do is wait for you
Each and every dayNow you're gone
Gone away
All I do is wait for you
Each and every dayOh, I'm waiting for your love
I'm wondering where you are
Are you with another guy?
Are you showing him your world?Oh, I'm waiting for your love
I want to see your smile
Brighten up my day
Yes, I'm waiting for your love
Yes, I'm waiting for your loveOh, I'm waiting for your love
I'm wondering where you are
Are you with another guy?
Are you showing him your world?Oh, I'm waiting for your love
I want to see your smile
Brighten up my day
Yes, I'm waiting for your love
Yes, I'm waiting for your love

Singer, songwriter, and producer Stevie B. was among the leading lights of the Miami dance music scene of the late '80s, later reaching the top of the pop charts with the mega-hit "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)." A native of South Florida, he worked a variety of dead-end jobs ranging from car-wash attendant to fast-food server before scoring his debut hit with 1987's "Party Your Body," which grew from a regional success to national club smash; it was also the title track of his 1988 debut LP, which went gold.
