Walk Away Lyrics

Well, you sit alone and stare at the cloudy sky
I stand in the doorway, wonder why
There's no tenderness in the words we said
There's no sense in pretending for one more dayThey say a man's gotta stand and take it
They say true love is worth the fight
The time has come now to turn and face it
This will never be right though it's over tonightPlayed all the games, we danced all the dances
Trying to hold on to yesterday
Now that we run out of second chances
Well, I thought it proved and the best I can do
Is just walk away, walk awayWell, it's over now, all is said and done
We both fought the good fight but nobody won
Well, we try again, only time will tell
All that's left for me now is to wish you wellThey say a man's gotta stand and take it
They say true love is worth the fight
The time has come now to turn and face it
This will never be right though it's over tonightPlayed all the games, we danced all the dances
Trying to hold on to yesterday

Now that we run out of second chances
Well, I thought it proved and the best I can do
Is just walk awayThey say a man's gotta stand and take it
They say true love is worth the fight
The time has come now to turn and face it
This will never be right though it's over tonightPlayed all the games, we danced all the dances
Trying to hold on to yesterday
Now that we run out of second chances
Well, I thought it proved and the best I can do
Is just walk away, walk away, walk, walk, walk away, walk away
