Walk Beside Me Lyrics

Put one foot in front of the other
Stepping in through the here and now
I dont know just where Im going
But Im gonna get there it anyhowGot this far and no direction
Follow where my boots do stand
Im still strong and I know Ill make it
Ill sit right down in the Promised Land[CHORUS]Here I come and
Walk Beside me
Till our pathways
Do divide
Nothin much, but
Love to give you
Even less than
Ive to hide[ChORUS end}When you left me in the springtime
So many questions in my mind
Summer came and left me waiting
Not one answer could I findBut I saw you
Out in the Rocky Mountains

Felt you
On the Great North Sea
Its a lonesome road
That I have to travel
You will always be with me
Brother,
[CHORUS] come and
walk beside me
(CHORUS continues to end)I hear laughter in the thunder
I feel comfort in the wind
I see hope in the hopeless faces
Someday were gonna meet againCHORUS X 2VERSE ONE is repeated to close out
