Walkin' To New Orleans Lyrics

It's time, I'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm gonna need two pair of shoes
When I get through walkin' to you
When I get back to New OrleansI've got my suitcase in my hand
Now, ain't that a shame?
I'm leavin' here, today
Yes, I'm goin' back home to stay
Yes, I'm walkin' to New OrleansYou used to be my honey
Till I lost all my money
No use for me to cry
I'll see you bye and bye
When I get back to New OrleansAnd I got no time for talkin'
I've got to keep on walkin'
New Orleans is my home
That's the reason why I'm goin'
Yes, I'm walkin' to New OrleansI'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm walkin' to New Orleans

I'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm walkin' to New OrleansAre you goin' my way?
I'm going back home [Incomprehensible]I'm walkin' to New Orleans
I'm walkin' to New Orleans

Antoine Dominique "Fats" Domino (born February 26, 1928 in New Orleans, Louisiana), is a classic R&B and rock and roll singer, songwriter and pianist. He was the best-selling African-American singer of the 1950s and early 1960s whose congenial, non threatening personality allowed him to succeed despite a period of deep-seated racial segregation. Domino is also a pianist with an individualistic bluesy style showing stride and boogie-woogie influences.
