Walking On Sunshine Lyrics

Do it, oh do it
Oh, do it, do it
Oh, do itLooking through the morning dew
At smoky mountains, nothing new
Lead me to the mountain tower
And we'll work until it's time to stopOh baby, you're mine, you're mine you're walking on sunshine
And I got to tell you that you doing fine walking on sunshine, oh
And I got to tell you that you're doing fine walking on sunshine
Yeah, oh baby, oh baby, oh baby, oh darlingOh, living isn't everything
But you know the feeling love can bring
I said, "When you're floating through your cloud"
Baby don't you shout too loud, oh darlin'Oh said girl, "You're mine, you're mine you're walking on sunshine"
And I got to tell you that you doing fine walking on sunshine, oh
I got to tell you that you're doing fine walking on sunshine
Oh oh, darling"You're mine, you're mine you're walking on sunshine"
And I got to tell you that you doing fine walking on sunshine
Oh, I got to tell you that you're doing fine walking on sunshineThat's right, get there, everybody do this
That's right, get there, everybody do this

That's right, get there, everybody do this
That's right, get there, everybody do thisI'm walking on sun shine
I'm walking on sun shine
I'm walking on sun shine

Eddy Grant (b. 1948) is a Guyanan musician. Born Edmond Montague Grant on the 5th March 1948 in Plaisance, Guyana, he emigrated with parents to London, England when he was still young. As a teenager he formed the multi-racial group The Equals. He sported dyed blonde hair, and had his first million-selling number-one hit in 1968, when he was the lead guitarist and main songwriter with his song "Baby Come Back". Grant openly used his songwriting for political purposes, as in "Police on My Back", and later "Gimme Hope Jo'anna" about the then-current apartheid regime of South Africa.
