Wallpaper For The Soul (Sean O'Hagan Remix) Lyrics

Wallpaper for the soul
To keep away from the black hole
In my heart there's plenty of room
For everyone to kill the gloom
Don't worry too much about what to say
The words would have come anywayFollow me
To the house of the freeWallpaper for the soul
Like the one stole
A long time agoWallpaper for the soul
Seeing life through the keyhole
And you don't want to goA piece of sunshine a piece a of gold
Like a secret never toldA piece of sunshine a piece of gold
Wallpaper for the soulIn your heart ther's plenty of room
For everyone to kill the gloomWallpaper for the soul

Formed by multi instrumentalists Xavier Boyer, Médéric Gontier, Sylvain Marchand & Pedro Resende, Tahiti 80 ’s adventure began in the French cities of Rouen and Paris in the mid 90s. Singer/ guitarist Boyer and bassist Resende formed the pop combo as students at the University of Rouen, sharing an affinity for indie music, new wave and sixties pop. Taking their name from a souvenir t-shirt given to Boyer's father in 1980, the duo recruited guitarist Mederic Gontier, and with the addition of drummer Sylvain Marchand a year later, the lineup was complete.
