Waltz across Texas Lyrics

When we dance together my world's in disguise
It's a fairyland tale that come true
And when you look at me with those stars in your eyes
I could waltz across Texas with youWaltz across Texas with you in my arms
Waltz across Texas with you
Like a storybook ending I'm lost in your charms
And I could waltz across Texas with youMy heartaches and troubles are just up and gone
The moment that you come in view
And with your hand in mine dear
I could dance on and onWaltz across Texas with you in my arms
Waltz across Texas with you
Like a storybook ending I'm lost in your charms
And I could waltz across Texas with you

Ernest Dale Tubb (February 9, 1914 – September 6, 1984), nicknamed the Texas Troubadour, was an American singer and songwriter and one of the pioneers of country music. His biggest career hit song, "Walking the Floor Over You" (1941), marked the rise of the honky tonk style of music. In 1948, he was the first singer to record a hit version of "Blue Christmas", a song more commonly associated with Elvis Presley and his mid-1950s version.
