War On War Lyrics

It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
It's a war on war
There's a war onYou're gonna lose
You have to lose
You have to learn how to dieJust watching the miles flying by
Just watching the miles flying by
You are not my typewriter
But you could be my demon
Moving forward through the flaming doorsYou have to lose
You have to learn how to die
If you want to, want to be aliveYou have to lose
You have to lose
You have to learn how to die

If you want to, want to be aliveYou have to die
You have to die
You have to learn how to die
If you want to, want to be alive
Okay?

Jeff Tweedy (born August 25, 1967 in Belleville, Illinois, United States) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and poet best known for his work with the group Wilco. Tweedy joined rockabilly band The Plebes with high school friend Jay Farrar in the early 1980s, but Tweedy's musical interests caused one of Farrar's brothers to quit. The Plebes changed their name to The Primitives in 1984, and subsequently to Uncle Tupelo.
