Warped Lyrics

Well its seems that everybody has to tell me what to do
And I didn't listen to them so you know I won't listen to you
'Cause you know that I'm down right crazy as hell
I do what I want to do
Go stand up on the street corner begging for change
And end up being a fool
I'm warped and I'm comin' to you
Yes I'm out on my own and nobody speaks for me
And I don’t want much but to keep on riding free
And its too bad you cant live your life for yourself
Make ‘em understand that you don’t need nobody else
Cause you know that we’re down right crazy as hell
We do what we want to do
Don’t you stand up on the street corner begging for change
You’ll end up being a fool
I’m an easy going man with a simple little plan
You know I ain't nobody's tool
Just because I don’t talk to much don’t think I’m too cruel

I’m warped and I coming to you
Well I’m warped, and nuthin’s ruling my mind
And I loved the boogie woogie
When the piece is right
Well I’m warped and I’m burning my brain
Why don't you come with me and ride it's a rock ‘n’ roll train
Ohh choo, choo little mama
Ohhh, Ahh ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Now I’m out on my own and nobody speaks for me
And I never wanted much but to keep on riding free
Well freedom is a fire that never goes away
And you can't have the flame until your dying day
‘Cause you know we’re down right crazy as hell
Do what we wanted to do
Don’t stand up on the street corner begging for change
Or you’ll end up being a fool
I’m easy going man with a simple little plain
You know I ant nobody’s jewels
Just because I don’t talk too much
Don't think I’m too cruel
I'm warped and I'm comin' to you

Blackfoot are a southern rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, United States. They were formed in 1972 and were contemporaries of Lynyrd Skynyrd, but with a harder rock sound. They had a number of hit albums in the 1970s and early 1980s before their popularity started to wane. They had broken up by 1985, though not before former Uriah Heep keyboardist/songwriter Ken Hensley had joined the group during their last couple of years together.

Vocalist Rickey Medlocke revived the name in 1987 with a new backing group and released three additional albums (Rick Medlocke And Blackfoot, Medicine Man, and After the Reign). In 1997, Medlocke disbanded the group, and joined Lynyrd Skynyrd.

In 2004 a second resurrection of Blackfoot took place with founding members Jackson Spires, Greg Walker, and Charlie Hargrett. Medlocke was not available, however, and the frontman role was given to Bobby Barth. Tragedy struck in March 2005 when Spires died suddenly of an aneurysm, but the band decided to persevere for the time being. Following the will of Spires, Austrian drummer Christoph Ullmann was hired as permanent drummer. In 2006, the band toured and was backed up by Jay Johnson on guitar and vocals. A live DVD was released in 2007. In 2007, the band was touring and consisted of bassist Greg Walker, guitarist Charlie Hargrett, guitarist and lead vocalist Bobby Barth, and drummer Michael Sollars. Currently Barth is unavailable due to illness and former Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Mike Estes is now vocalist.
