We Are So Last Year (Instrumental Version) Lyrics

We're falling faster
This is the last year
Just a few more hours
Until we are all alone
This never happens
Changing with fashion
Just a few more hours
Until we are all aloneI wish I could have known you better
I should blame it on the weather
This was over from the start
Does it even matter?
Our situations getting worseSleep in, (sleep in)
Sleep well, (sleep well)
With this life, (this life)
We're set to failI just wanted you to know
I think about you every night
When I fall asleep
You are in my dreams

And just like in a movie
The one you want to see
With a happy endingThis dead letter written on black paper
It never found your eyes
Instead of love (instead of love)
She only saw dollar signsSleep in, (sleep in)
Sleep well, (sleep well)
With this life, (this life)
We're set to failI just wanted you to know
I think about you every night
When I fall asleep
You are in my dreams
And just like in a movie
The one you want to see
With a happy endingWith this life, (this life)
We are set to failI just wanted you to know
I think about you every night
When I fall asleep
I just wanted you to know
I think about you every night
When I fall asleep
You are in my dreams
And just like in a movie
The one you want to see
With a happy ending

Formed in Dayton, Ohio in 2001. Playing from the start on self-booked tours across the country gave them some initial national exposure, but they weren't signed to Victory Records until late 2003. As one of the first bands to utilize social networking to gain a fan base, Hawthorne Heights developed a huge MySpace following that became a catalyst that would launch them from underground to international awareness.
