We Are the Boys Lyrics

And twenty one was over the hill you feel
To pick up girls was always your wet dream
You laughed about the communist centuryNow it's the marx brothers taking over
Listened to ska, that was cool
Try and emulate those heroes
MisunderstoodWe are the boys, think about nothing and
We are the boys, boys have got feelings too
We are the boys, always been no-one and
We are the boys, boys have got feelings tooThere's never been a thing that a young boy missed
You got cars but ain't getting any
We never kept account 'cos they call us queensVideo games, we have lost our souls
Bulldozer head 'cos we're stoned
All get hurt and bruised and tender
Bulldozer head 'cos we're stonedWe are the boys, think about nothing and
We are the boys, boys have got feelings too
We are the boys, always been no-one and
We are the boys, boys have got feelings tooBoys have got feelings
Boys have got feelings too

Boys have got feelings
Boys have got feelings tooWe are the boys, think about nothing and
We are the boys, boys have got feelings too
We are the boys, always been noone and
We are the boys, boys have got feelings too
We are the boys, think about nothing and (boys have got feelings)
We are the boys, boys have got feelings too (boys have got feelings too)
We are the boys, always been noone and (boys have got feelings)
We are the boys, boys have got feelings too (boys have got feelings too)
We are the boys, think about nothing and (boys have got feelings)
We are the boys, boys have got feelings too (boys have got feelings too)
We are the boys, always been noone and (boys have got feelings)
We are the boys, boys have got feelings too (boys have got feelings too)

Mansun were formed in Chester in 1995 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Paul Draper, lead guitarist/ backing vocalist Dominic Chad, bassist Stove King and drummer Andie Rathbone. Arriving on the Britpop-dominated scene as a beat-driven art rock band, Mansun liberally mixed progressive rock, psychedelia, art pop, shoegaze, 80's noir and electronic elements; instead of singles releasing numerous multi-format EPs bookended by concept albums, often changing their style (and peculiar uniforms) each release.
