We Could Have Been the Closest of Friends Lyrics

Well there you are and here am I
We are what we decided
Alone behind a wall of pride
Hopelessly devided
We had so much together, Baby
What got into us
How could we just call it quits
We should of called for love
We could of been the closests of friends
We might of been the worlds greatest lovers
But now we're just with out each other
We could of been the closests of friends
Now I could say you did me wrong
And you can say you didn't
Or we could sit and hold our tongues
And act like little children

I could say you never really loved me
And you could say the same
But if it's really over then here's was to blame
We could of been the closests of friends
We might of been the worlds greatest lovers
But now we're just with out each other
We could of been the closests of friends
Closest of friends
We might of been the worlds greatest lovers
But now we're just, we're just with out each other
We might of been the worlds greatest lovers
But know we're just with out each other
We could of been the closests of friends
