We Need You Right Now Lyrics

Like an earthquake brought us to the floor
we shattered pieces on the ground
I wanna find what we have before
the walls came crashing down
picking up, moving on, waking up
alone
seeking this every second
looking that my fault
thinking back what we had
whether we blow on
now you got me screaming out
I need you right now
I can't wait for your love
lost beyond the circle of our hearts
I know
I need you right now
I can't wait for your love
ohhh

a million miles separate our hearts, I know
but I need you right now
ohhhh
but I need you right now
ohhhh
Like
a million miles separate our hearts
I know

In 1983, Kirk Whalum caught the attention of the pianist Bob James. And, Whalum joined his album "12" (1985). He released his debut album "Floppy Disk" with James' support.
From the latter term of 1980's, Whalum began to make a name for himself as a sideman of great insight and musicianship, playing on albums by a wide variety of artists -- including Larry Carlton, Quincy Jones, Luther Vandross, Al Jarreau and many others. He also toured with Whitney Houston. Her song I Will Always Love You's sax solo is Kirk's performance.
