Weeping Willow Lyrics

When morning breaks
We had our eyes and our lungs aching
Nothing's strange
It was in our hands
From six to ten
It slipped right out againThere'll be no better time
There'll be no better way
There'll be no better day to save me
Save me, yeah save me, yeah save meI hope you see like I see
I hope you see what I see, yeah, yeah
I hope you feel like I feelAnd the world don't stop
There is no time for cracking up
Believe me friend
'Cause when freedom comes
I'll be long gone
You know it has to endThere'll be no better time
There'll be no better way
There'll be no better day to save me

Yeah save me, yeah save me, yeah save meI hope you see like I see, yeah, yeah
I hope you feel what I feel, yeah, yeah
Someone to stand beside meBeside me, beside me, beside me
Beside me, beside me, beside me
Beside me, beside me, beside meWeeping willow
The pills under my pillow
Weeping willow
The pills under my pillow
Weeping willow
The gun under your pillow
Weeping willow
Weeping willowBeside me
Yeah, beside me
Yeah, beside me
Yeah, beside me

The Five Satins are an American doo wop group, best known for their song, "In the Still of the Night". The group, formed in New Haven, Connecticut, consisted of leader Fred Parris, Lou Peebles, Stanley Dortch, Ed Martin and Jim Freeman in 1954. With little success, the group reorganized, with Dortch and Peebles leaving, and new member Al Denby entering. The group then recorded "In the Still of the Night", which was originally released as the b-side to the single, "The Jones Girl".
