We'll Meet Again Someday, or We Won't Lyrics

You can't see me anymore
what used to be my face
now seems to be a door
to another life beyond what we had
you're leaving me but it makes me kind of gladthe city lights will tempt you to change your name
no matter your costume
your heart's still the same
it only beats in time to someone else
but sooner or later
you've got to bleed for yourselfso maybe
baby
we'll meet again someday
or we won'tsomeday you will know what I mean
life ain't real
it's only a dream
and the phantoms you're fighting against
would dance with you if you gave them
half the chance

so maybe
baby
we'll meet again someday
or we won't

Bill was one of the founding members of the band SOUND TEAM and current leader of Sunset (formerly {{{Sunset}}}). His own material pursues experimental approaches to folk / pop / ambient. Much of his work can be found on his bandcamp page, here. Bill has been writing and playing songs for a while. The early songs were "lo-fi" and contained numerous recording experiments. Lots of backwards flange pedal. These tapes were given to friends and sold to foes. "Sounds great, Bill," they would smile out the words through gritted teeth.
