We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again Lyrics

Turn on the radio, we'll play it way down low
There's a tear in your eye
That's reflecting the fire's glowAnd I wish this night would never end
The sun ain't gonna be my friend
Lyin' here awaiting here and wishin' I knew when
We'll never have to say goodbye again
We'll never have to say goodbye againYou must leave, I know you will
I won't let you go until you show me some secret
For making this time stand stillAnd somewhere sometime from now
Together again somehow all of the waiting will seem
Like a moment and then
We'll never have to say goodbye again
We'll never have to say goodbye againThe whole night afraid to see the light
And the whole day cryin', wishin' I knew when
We'll never have to say goodbye again
We'll never have to say goodbye againWe'll never have to say goodbye again
We'll never have to say goodbye again

The seeds of one of classic rock's most pleasant sounding duos were sown when Dan Seals and John Colley first met in high school in Dallas, Texas during the early 1960s. Dan Seals was born February 8, 1950, in McCamey, Texas. To say that he came from a musical family would be an understatement. He was the son of E. W. "Waylon" Seals, a pipe fitter and repairman for Shell Oil who also played guitar and bass, and was a member of bands led by Ernest Tubb and Bob Wills. By the time he was four, Dan had learned to play upright bass and soon after he was playing in the family band.
