We're Good (Feat. Frankie J) Lyrics

[Both:]
And we're still keeping it together, we're good (We're good)(Yeah, ey) (Oh) (We're going to stand through the end of the time, baby)
(It's just me and you, we're good)[Paula DeAnda (Frankie J):]
They're always talking 'bout the two of us.
Always saying that we're breaking up.
Always trying their best to tear us down (I know baby)
They like to claim that we won't last too long.
We're just going to go and prove them wrong.
Giving up just ain't what we're about. They try (Try to come between us)
They lie (They never seem to leave us) alone.
(But no one ever thought we'd make it this far)[Both:]
But we're still keeping it together, we're good.
Aint nobody breaking us apart & no one ever could.
Only cause we're only getting close, we're tight.
None of their words and lies don't matter.
They can say what they like.
We're doing alright, yeah baby we're good.
Baby we're good (We're good)[Frankie J:]

All they got is all their jealousy.
What we are is what they'll never be.
What we know is we got something strong[Paula DeAnda:]
(Yeah)
Nothing they can do can bring us down.
Don't they know that we'll still be around.
After all the rumors have come and gone.[Paula DeAnda (Frankie J):]
They try (Try to come between us)
They lie (They never seem to leave us) alone.
(But that don't really matter cause we made it this far)[Both:]
But we're still keeping it together, we're good.
Aint nobody breaking us apart & no one ever could.
Only cause we're only getting close, we're tight.
None of their words and lies don't matter.
They can say what they like.
We're doing alright, we're doing alright. All that we have is everything we need (Yeah)
I'll stand by you and you will stand by me.
Won't listen to what they say.
No baby there ain't no way.
Nothing is ever going to come between us.
Just you and me.But we're still keeping it together, we're good.
Aint nobody breaking us apart & no one ever could.
Only cause we're only getting close, we're tight.
None of their words and lies don't matter.
They can say what they like.
We're doing alright, we're doing alright.

Arista Records announced its newest artist in mid-2006, Paula DeAnda, a teenage singer/songwriter, whose debut album hit stores on August 29th, 2006.

Paula DeAnda is part of the groundswell of rhythmic radio/Latin musical performers based in Corpus Christi, TX. Her first single, "Doing Too Much", broke out of the Southwest with massive radio play at the Rhythmic format. It went on to become a crossover hit, reaching the top 20 of the Pop charts.

DeAnda auditioned for Clive Davis and A&R Senior VP Steve Ferrera and was signed on the spot. "Doing Too Much" was co-written by DeAnda and Baby Bash, and produced by Happy Perez. DeAnda writes her own material and has been performing since the age of 11. Her more recent single was entitled, "Easy" and featured such artists as Bow Wow, Corey Franks and Lil Wayne.

Commented Clive Davis, Chairman, BMG US Label Group: "Paula auditioned for us in my office, singing acappella and dazzled everyone. She has a powerful voice and is a triple threat as a writer and arranger. Signing her was a no brainer."

DeAnda was born in San Angelo, TX, and moved with her family to Corpus Christi with her family in 2002 to start her career as a musical artist. At age 11, DeAnda was already singing background vocals on Spanish and Tejano records. DeAnda has performed at concerts opening for Nelly, Akon, Frankie J and Baby Bash, to name a few.
