West Side Story Lyrics

Veronica's the song that's in my head, Veronica's the name I've often said
But her friends say she's too good for me, it's kinda like a West Side Story
She's the only one for me, she's the only girl I see
I can't seem to find a damn thing wrong with her, VeronicaEvery day I see your friends talkin' about me
But I know there's something there that no one can see
It reminds me of Romeo and Juliet like we're living on a movie set
Montague and Capulet, make your daddy sweat
'Cause he wishes we had never metShe says that I just make her world go round, God knows I feel it too
I'm so in love, I'm so in love, I'm so in love with youVeronica's the song that's in my head, Veronica's the name I've often said
But her friends say she's too good for me, it's kinda like a West Side Story
She's the only one for me, she's the only girl I see
I can't seem to find a damn thing wrong with her, VeronicaYour brothers say, it's over now they're looking for me
But I know there's something there that no one can see
It reminds me of Romeo and Juliet like we're living on a movie set
I'm a shark and you're a jet, make your mommy sweat
'Cause she wishes we had never metShe says I just make her world go round, I know 'cause I feel it too
I'm so in love with youVeronica's the song that's in my head, Veronica's the name I've often said
But her friends say she's too good for me, it's kinda like a West Side Story

She's the only one for me, she's the only girl I see
I can't seem to find a damn thing wrong with her, VeronicaYeah
Check, check, check, check, uhJohnny Rocket, got her number in my pocket
We was on the run, daddy got a gun, stop it
Playin' with Veronica, she's got me now
But her brother got a biscuit and it might go powI'm shaking to breakin' and makin' and bakin'to do
Wit'cha and yo crew and ain't doin' nothing
But grabbin' a mic and I'm smackin' a mic
And I'm still on beatYou can't stop the blood rush and you can't stop love
So it's time to knuckle up and pray to the Lord aboveShe says that I just make the world go round, God knows I feel it too
I'm so in love with youVeronica's the song that's in my head, Veronica's the name I've often said
But her friends say she's too good for me, it's kinda like a West Side Story
She's the only one for me, she's the only girl I see
I can't seem to find a damn thing wrong with her, VeronicaVeronica's the song that's in my head, Veronica's the name I've often said
But her friends say she's too good for me, it's kinda like a West Side Story
She's the only one for me, she's the only girl I see
I can't seem to find a damn thing wrong with her, Veronica

There are 2 bands under the name LFO.

1) English band LFO were one of the pioneers of the harsh techno of the early 1990s. Originally comprising Gez Varley (also known as Jez Varley) and Mark Bell, they met while studying at Leeds and gave their first track, the eponymous “LFO”, to Nightmares On Wax. The demo’s popularity in clubs lead to the track being released by Warp in 1990, where it made it into the Top Twenty. The name “LFO” comes from the term low frequency oscillator, a component used to alter sounds in synthesizers, samplers etc.

Gez Varley left the duo in 1996, and continues to have a solo career. Mark Bell continues to record under his own name and that of LFO, as well as producing albums for Björk and Depeche Mode.

LFO’s album ’Frequencies’ (containing the previously mentioned “LFO” and its follow-up single, “We Are Back”) was a popular album for Warp Records and undoubtedly helped establish them as a successful global independent electronic label, along with label-mates Nightmares On Wax and Sweet Exorcist. It was originally released with a warning sticker stating that the record company was not responsible for the potential damage to speakers due to the the extremely loud, low frequency bass signals contained within the music.

‘Frequencies’ was followed by the less commercially successful ’Advance’ and, in 2003, by ’Sheath’ which saw a return to the earlier minimal techno sound of LFO’s debut.

2) Lyte Funky Ones (LFO) was an American "boy band" pop group consisting of Rich Cronin, Devin Lima (born Harold Lima), and Brad Fischetti. Before Devin Lima joined the group in 1999, the third member was Brian Gillis, known as “Brizz”, who was with the group from its start in 1995. Rich Cronin was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2005. He founded The Rich Cronin Hope Foundation. Cronin lost his battle on September 9th 2010.
