West of Tomorrow Lyrics

After midnight (x2)
while the gray light (x2)
paints a new day (x2)
misty hour (x2)
love and power (x2)
find a new way (x2)
whole world sleeping
young love stirring
while the night goes (x2)
blue stars fading
curtains playing
by her window (x2)
west of tomorrow, east of today
love explodes into a righteous day
sending me so high I’ll always stay

west of now and east of yesterday
sunshine warming (x2)
slowly waving (x2)
Sunday morning (x2)
speaking softly (x2)
moving near me (x2)
in the dawning (x2)
blue eyes whisper
time for loving
pulls me tighter (x2)
soft lips touch me
woman wants me
just won't fight her (x2)
west of tomorrow, east of today
love explodes into a righteous day
sending me so high I’ll always stay
west of now and east of yesterday (x6)
West of tomorrow, East of today
love explodes into a righteous day
sending me so high I'll always stay.
West of now and East of yesterday (x7)

There are two bands named Sugarloaf. 1) Sugarloaf was a Denver, Colorado-based rock & roll band in the 1970s featuring Jerry Corbetta. The band was originally known as Chocolate Hair. They changed their name to Sugarloaf, named after a mountain range in Colorado, when they received their first recording contract. According to the Green Eyed Lady Songfacts, the group was formed from the remains of the band The Moonrakers, with five members of that group carried over.
