Western Wall Lyrics

WESTERN WALL
There's a fire that keeps on burning
All along the Western Wall
There's a nightmare keeps returning
And it makes no sense at all
Out in the street
The heat is rising
Down at the checkpoint, voices scream
There's smoke on the horizon
Just enough to kill both dreams
No more sorrow
No more struggle
If I could, I would
End it all today

There's a fire that keeps on burning
All along the western world
Another cheek that won't be turning
Another war banner unfurled
In my dreams I've seen them screaming
On the news I've watched them lie
And I hate the ones who profit
From the faith of those who die

There's a fire that keeps on burning
And a flame that's grown too wild
Too many hearts have frozen over
Insanity is in their eyes
One can pretend they are the rightious
One can pretend their god is right
Hurry off to their destruction
Follow hate into that night
No more problems
No more hatred
Fiery clouds they're
shining like the sun
There's a fire that keeps on burning
All along the Western Wall
There's a nightmare keeps returning
And it makes no sense at all
