We've Got The Right Lyrics

Saying sorry
Would mean I've apologised
And you know I was good to you baby
There were very few lies
Now that you ask me
I'm no saint inside
The same things you feel little darling
I don't try to hide
When I think about the laughter
Directed at me
I don't give a damn anymore
If they don't see what I see
We've got the right to love
We've got the chance to make it work
We've got the right to love
Yes we got the right
That's where you get me, yes you do
Almost every time

When it comes down to making love
It has to be right
When I think about the laughter
Directed at me
I don't give a damn anymore
If they don't see what I see
We've got the right to love
We've got the chance to make it work
We've got the right to love
Yes we got the right
Don't put the blame on me
I won't tell you no lies
Don't put the blame on me
Got no time for compromise
We've got the right to love
We've got the chance to make it work
We've got the right to love
Yes we got the right

George Alan O'Dowd (born June 14, 1961, in London, United Kingdom), a Irish/British singer, songwriter & DJ who gained fame with his group Culture Club during the 80s. He epitomized the term "blue-eyed soul" and received just as much airplay on R&B radio stations as pop stations. George's androgynous style caught the attention of music executive Malcolm McLaren, who arranged for George to perform with the group Bow Wow Wow, featuring Annabella Lwin, at various shows. George called himself Lieutenant Lush and nearly stole the spotlight from Lwin.
