What Are We Supposed To Do Lyrics

[Verse 1:]
In a world that seems so fake, artificial everything;
Oh I just want be real,
I gotta say how I feel, can't wait.Always looking at myself,
Never liking what I see;
I never gave me the chance,
Never knew what I really could be.[Chorus 1:]
(Better than living a lie),
(it's better than wearing a disguise);
Take a chance on you,
(You just be you),
(take a chance on you).[Verse 2:]
I can't say the world has changed,
They still judge by what they see.
Though I can't help what they say,
I know who's inside of me.It's okay to take that chance,
Try your possibilities (possibilities);
No one can do what you do,

Or stop all the things you can be
(they can't even stop what you're gonna be).[Chorus 2:]
(Better than living a lie) living a lie,
(it's better than wearing a disguise);
Take a chance on you,
(You just be you),
(take a chance on you, on you).[Bridge:]
The grass is always green on the other side,
It's when you're looking through your insecure eyes.
And it's better than living a lie (living a lie),
So much better than wearing a disguise,
(take a chance on you) You just be you,
(You just be you, You just be you).[Ending:]
It's better (better)
Than living a lie (living a lie),
So much better than wearing a disguise;
(take a chance on you),
(take a chance on you),
(take a chance on you),
You just be you.

House of Fools combine many elements of retro progressive rock and rock opera, akin to bands like ELO, Queen and The Eagles, with elements of modern indie and pop rock, such as Jimmy Eat World, Bright Eyes and Polyphonic Spree. Catchy hooks are built of tight drumming, sleepy bass lines, rhythmic guitar, accented by the occassional tasty chop or solo, and glossy and varied keyboard elements, all cinched in by perfect vocal arrangements and performances which display experienced use of range, style and technique.
