What I Was Made For (Album Version) Lyrics

I used to think that I was never good enough to cut it
I bought the lines that they were selling time after time
But when You opened up my mind and I refused to shut it
You brought me to a place where I could leave it all behindGoodbye to my old life, I dont listen to those lies anymore
You've given me new life, loving You is what I was made forIt took a while for me to see but when I finally saw it
I knew I had to leave my sorted past in the past
I couldn't get there on my own, it was Your grace that taught it
My sin is covered by Your blood and Im not looking backYou saw right through me, Your kindness drew me
Your mercy knew me, You love came to me

When it came to naming their new album, the five men who comprise Big Daddy Weave hardly had a choice. The new album all but named itself: Every Time I Breathe. More than a call to worship, their latest project is a call to life. With Every Time I Breathe, Big Daddy Weave surrenders all that they have, and joyfully admit it is not enough. "We finally realized it is not the greatness of our offering, but it is the greatness of the God we are offering to that makes the difference," says singer/guitarist and primary songwriter Mike Weaver.
