What If the World Stops Turning (Duet) Lyrics

What does it matter
What's going on outside
With or without us
It'll keep going onJust fly [Incomprehensible]
And plenty of timeWhat if the world stops turning
What if the sun stops burning
Would you stay here, fallen in loveSo let the world stop turning
And let the sun stop burning
We'll just keep on falling in loveWhat could be better
Than just lying here with you
We got each other
We got a million years intoThis is the fine time
To kick off your shoesWhat if the world stops turning
What if the sun stops burning
Would you stay here, fallen in loveSo let the world stop turning
And let the sun stop burning
We'll just keep on falling in loveWhat if the world stops turning
What if the sun stops burning

Would you stay here, fallen in loveSo let the world stop turning
And let the sun stop burning
We'll just keep on falling in love
We'll just stay here, fallen in love

In October 2007, Smith released a Christmas album, My Holiday. In addition to several standards, Smith wrote six original Christmas-themed songs. One standout, I Know The Reason, includes duet vocals by Thad Cockrell.
