What Used To Turn Me On Lyrics

I used to run with the wildest crowd spinnin' wheels and gettin' loud
Crazy as a loon and closin' down the bars at three
But the whiskey 'bout done me in so I don't go there again
What used to turn me on has turned on me
This livin' wild has wrecked my life and tore my whole world apart
These old heartaches and sad goodbyes put a big hole in my heart
Now I'm walkin' that straight and narrow, I'm doin' things differently
What used to turn me on has turned on me
I used to hang with my gamblin' friends, I'd lose more than I would mend
She was tired of my ways and told me she was goin' to leave
She took my guitar and my old hat, I never thought it would come to that
What used to turn me on has turned on me
This livin' wild has wrecked my life and tore my whole world apart
These old heartaches and sad goodbyes put a big hole in my heart
Now I'm walkin' that straight and narrow, I'm doin' things differently
What used to turn me on has turned on me
What used to turn me on has turned on me
