What You Wanted Lyrics

I've been thinking 'bout a time
A time that we once knew
Been thinking for a while
That it's here if we want it
If we know that we want it
Yes it's here if you want it
But I'm pretty sure I don't
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
Now or ever now, or forever
Oh, I never had the chance

To prove my innocence,
To prove my inner sensitivity
We all got mistaken,
Maybe liberties were taken
All the good time was mistaken
But will you admit it too?
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
Now or ever now, or forever
I could give you anything except
(What you wanted, not what you wanted)
I would give you everything except
(What you wanted, not what you wanted)
Show me how you feel girl
(What you wanted, not what you wanted)
Show me something real girl
(What you wanted, not what you wanted)
Right now!
Right now!
Right now!
Now or ever now, or forever!
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
(Right now)
What you wanted
It's not what I wanted
Now or ever now, or forever
