What's Behind Me Lyrics

I loved you once but I don't think you ever knew it
I guess I was so scared to lose it
But I never really put my heart into it
How did I get here?
What will I do now?
Everything reminds me a little bit of you somehow
I gotta get back there
Don't tell me it's too late now
God only knows
Oh, how many times can I trip on something behind me?
Oh, I think I'm lost out here; I need you to find me
How do I get down, what will I be then, will I be happy
God only knows I've been an agent of ruin
I don't want to do it again
Here I go again
I shouldn't be shocked, shouldn't be scared, shouldn't be here
I guess I'm not lost if I don't even know where I should go
Oh, how many times can I trip on something behind me?

Oh, I think I'm lost out here; I need you to find me
Oh, how many times can I trip on something behind me?
I guess I shouldn't be here
