What's On TV Lyrics

The distance revered
Like a spike on a ball
Like a -speck- on a ball
A circular imprint
Stepped from the light
And whispered a slogan
Invented by anyone
So they all went along
And they yelled to the heavens
Where some place is good
Where you can find the right toothpaste
Without hardly lookin'
And it makes it sooooo easy
Just like getting to VenusThe resistance was weak
Idealogy was whimpered
But they stuck it out!
With a brand new idea
Gimme some smoke

Gimme some dinner
Gimme some smoke
Gimme some dinner
I'll get around to it
I'll get around to it one of these days
Probably when we realize that uh...
We're all morticiansSo what's on TV?
So what's on TV?
So what's on TV?Okay! I'll nag in there! I'll hang out there! Okay I'll try!
I'll try to see it the way you see it
I'll try to see it the way you see
I'll try to find ecstacySo what's on TV?
So what's on TV?
So what's on TV?(TV voice) "Hey, what's on TV?"Hey -- who's the leader here?
Who's in control?
What's gonna change?
Except the characters
And the color
And the peopleThey don't care
They can't live without killin'People are strange
We're all morticiansHey, what's on TV?
What's on TV?
What's on TV?People were... Well, we're all moriticians(TV voice) "I can't afford surprises! I have to find someone to help me keep this place under control!"
