What's Wrong With Right Now Lyrics

Walk away from the walls that youve been bangin on
Lay down your down and low and wake up the dawn
Wish on your star and leave heartache alone
Well, if youre gonna do it you better get to it
For its gone, long, long, goneSave a little light while the sun is shinin
Take a little trip past your horizon
And write another verse in your open book
Let everybody know every step you took on the way
How long can you say, that somehow someday
Youre gonna turn it around, whats wrong with right now?Go on and fill in that emptiness with a big ol smile
Kick off your loneliness and just stay a while
Throw away your old clothes and get yourself some style
Well, heres your chance better go on and get it
For its gone, long, long, goneSave a little light while the sun is shinin
Take a little trip past your horizon
And write another verse in your open book
Let everybody know every step you took on the way
How long can you say, that somehow someday

Youre gonna turn it around? Whats wrong with right now?Its so perfectly timed, its so silver lined
It starin you down, so whats wrong with right now?How long can you say that somehow someday
Youre gonna turn it around? Whats wrong with right now?Save a little light while the sun is shinin
Take a little trip past your horizon
Whats wrong with right now?
Save a little light while the sun is shinin
Take a little trip past your horizonSave a little light while the sun is shinin
Take a little trip past your horizon
Whats wrong with right now?
Save a little light while the sun is shinin
Take a little trip past your horizon

Steve Azar was born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi at the entrance to the Mississippi Delta. His mother was raised above the family grocery store located on Highway 61 in Clarksdale, MS near the infamous “Crossroads”. “The Crossroads” is the intersection of Route 61 and Route 49, or the 61/49 split as they call it there, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, made famous in the Robert Johnson song, “Cross Road Blues”. This is where Delta Blues legend Robert Johnson supposedly sold his soul to the Devil in exchange for mastery of the blues, or so the story goes.
