Wheels Lyrics

Some people are born to live alone
And go about life that way
Their home is a long stretch of blacktop
And everyday is just another dayThey like movin' and stayin' on the run
And tryin' to make the world stand still
White lines and city limit signs
And life is like an automobileRollin' down the highway what a fine time
That's the only way to feelWheels
Stay under me
Stay under me
Wheels
Stay under me
Stay under meIt's a freedom that we all wanna know
It's an obsession to some
To keep the world in your rear view mirror
While you try to run down the sunIt's the knowin' when you get to where you're goin'
You're never there against your will
White lines and city limit signs

And life is like an automobileRollin' down the highway what a fine time
That's the only way to feelWheels
Stay under me
Stay under me
Wheels
Stay under me
Stay under meWheels
I love to feel you turn
I love to feel you under me
Wheels turn around
Round like GeronomoIt's a code for livin' on the road
Try to make the world stand still
Rollin' down the highway
Rollin' down the highway, ohWheels
Stay under me
Stay under me
Wheels
Stay under me
Stay under meWheels
I love to feel you turn
I love to feel you under meWheels
Stay under me
Stay under me
Wheels
Stay under me
Stay under me

Restless Heart is a country pop band originally formed as a studio band to record demos. The group's members are: Larry Stewart, John Dittrich, Dave Innis, Paul Gregg and Greg Jennings. The members have diverse musical backgrounds, and developed a sound that has been compared to The Eagles. Primarily a country band, they crossed over to Adult Contemporary with singles from their Wheels and Big Iron Horses albums, and enjoyed their biggest crossover hit with "When She Cries" during late 1992.

Larry Stewart left Restless Heart in late 1991 after the group released the compilation "The Best of Restless Heart." The group then became a quartet and released "Big Iron Horses" in 1992 shortly after which Dave Innis left the group. The group released "Matters of the Heart" in 1994 before splitting up. In 1998, a reunited Restless Heart (minus Innis) recorded three new songs for a Greatest Hits album and then toured with Vince Gill for about a year.

In 2003, all five members reunited and recorded the album "Still Restless" for Koch Nashville in 2004. The record label closed in early 2005 leaving the group without a label. They are still touring and released a live album through their website in August 2007.
