When I Stop Dreaming Lyrics

The worst that I've ever been hurt in my life
The first time I ever have wanted to die
Was the night when you told me
You loved someone else
And you asked me if I could forgetWhen I stop dreaming
That's when I'll stop loving youYou may teach the flowers to bloom in the snow
You may take a pebble and teach it to grow
You may teach all the raindrops to return to the clouds
But you can't teach my heart to forgetWhen I stop dreaming
That's when I'll stop loving you

Charles Elzer Loudermilk (July 7, 1927 – January 26, 2011), known professionally as Charlie Louvin, was an American country music singer and songwriter. He is best known as one of the Louvin Brothers, and was a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1955.
