When We Made Love Lyrics

Ooh yeah, standin there
A shadow in the hall
Im hopin that it might be you
But it wasnt anyone at allI can still remember
The way things were
If I could only bring you back
Then I wouldnt need to say a wordOoh when we made love
It felt so strong, I remember
We were so much in love
Where did our love go wrong?Ooh remembering
The things we used to say
The memories are drifting by
But the pain is here to stayAnd it is no illusion
Im a lock without a key
Im only livin half a life
Without you here with meOoh when we made love
A love that felt so strong, I still remember
We were so deep in love

Ooh, ooh where did our love go wrong?I can feel every touch again
As real as it is crazy
And I kiss every kiss again
So tender they amaze meI live through the end again
Feeling like Im dying
Ooh and then I touch my cheek
Realize Im cryingWhen we made love
Ooh a love so strong and I remember
We were so deep in love
So tell me, where did our love go wrong?Oh yeah when we made love
Ooh when we belong together
Its those nights Im dreaming of
Theyll stay with me, theyll last forever
Ooh when we made love

(Not to be confused with Bad Company UK, the 1990s/2000s drum-and-bass DJ team. If you are here because of them, please fix your artist tags.)

Bad Company was a 1970s British blues-rock group fronted by Paul "The Voice" Rodgers. Their name came from a ‘70s Western movie and they were formed by former members of Mott the Hoople, Free, and King Crimson. Members were Paul Rodgers (singer/pianist), Mick Ralphs (guitarist), Boz Burrell (bassist), and Simon Kirke (drummer).

Their hits include “Shooting Star,” “Bad Company,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy,” "Ready for Love," and “Can’t Get Enough,” most of which are off of the albums Straight Shooter and Bad Company.

In the mid 80`s Rodgers & Burrell left the band. New singer Brian Howe, who had worked with Ted Nugent earlier, made 4 albums with the band. Year 1990`s LP Holy water contained big hit "If you needed somebody". Their style was then more like melodic rock.

In mid 1990`s Howe left the band and solo artist Robert Hart replaced him. Also other guitarist Dave Colwell & basist Rick Wills joined to group. In 2000`s Paul Rodgers came back to make the new album with old band members Kirke, Ralphs & other guys. They got a hit with the song "Joe Fabulous" what was number 1 on Classic Rock Radio. After that recording all original members left the band and new line-up members came to band. Robert Hart became again the band´s singer.
