Where Do We Go from Here? Lyrics

(Bill Meyers/Ross Vannelli)
1978 ELECTRICBILL MUSIC (ASCAP)/ROCKWOOD MUSIC (BMI)I saw you tonight
Going through all the motions with me
And wondered inside
If we were truly both sincereYou showed no surprise
When the evening had almost ended
And whispered confused
Tell me where do go from herePast emotions, filling my memories
Lovers potion that hypnotize
Could it be time has rearranged, what remains
Of the fire that lit our lives, can it still surviveI felt so alone
Though I knew you were right beside me
How could it be so
Will we ever be as near?
To the world we held so dear
Tell me where do go from here?Where are the thoughts
That disappear, where do we go from herePast emotions, filling my memories
Lovers potion that hypnotize

Could it be time has rearranged, what remains
of the fire that lit our lives, can it still surviveSo now that we know
Something's wrong with our situation
The question remains
Will our thoughts disappear
When there's so much left unclear
Where do we go from here?Where are the thoughts
That disappear, where do we go from here
