Where Does the Time Go Lyrics

The times that are best
When moments that pass one after another
You notice your thoughts
As they grow in the evening time just like clinging linesYou hold them all close
So they can't run away and leave you wonderin'
The times that are best
When moments they pass one after anotherHere we are
(Here we are)
Home at last
(Home at last)
Where did it start
And where will it finish?Home again
(Home again)
Jiggity jig
Where does the time go?Livin' in space is all fine and good
If you're an astronaut
But life is a dream
That Calculus could never predictI lift up my feet every time

I cross those railroad tracks
I'm not superstitious
It just reminds of me of youHere we are
(Here we are)
Home at last
(Home at last)
Where did it start
And where will it finish?Home again
(Home again)
Lickety split
Where does the time go?There is a time that passed over us
Like an airplane's shadow
I could chase it, I guess
It'll never be quite the sameI lifted my feet
Every time I cross the railroad tracks
I'm not superstitious
It just reminds of me of youHere we are
(Here we are)
Home at last
(Home at last)
Where did it start
And where will it finish?Home again
(Home again)
Jiggity jig
Where does the time go?Here we are
(Here we are)
Home at last
(Home at last)
Where did it start
And where will it finish?Home again
(Home again)
Jiggity jigHere we are
(Here we are)
Home at last
(Home at last)
Round on the ends
And high in the middleHome again
(Home again)
Lickety split
Where does the time go?
Where does the time go?
