Where I Stand Lyrics

Some of us play life like a board game
It's new fun and you play it with people
There's a time you get tired and you put it away
Then one day you get it out and the places are brokenSelf-discipline
I want to feel before you
Take it slow
Feel before you, yeahWhere I stand, where I stand
Where I stand, that's where I stand
Where I stand, where I stand
Where I stand, that's where I standSome of us live life like we didn't know it exists
Care, got to care or it fades away
Then one day you come to life
And living is overI just want self-discipline
I want to feel before you
Take it slow
Feel before you, yeahSelf-discipline
Feel before you
Take it slow

Feel before you, feel before you
Feel before you, feel before you, yeahWhere I stand, where I stand
Where I stand, that's where I stand
Where I stand, where I stand
Where I stand, that's where I stand

They are best known for the hit singles "Touch, Peel and Stand" and "Shelf in the Room," both from their self-titled debut album. Early years Days of the New began as an experimental rock/metal trio called Dead Reckoning, with Meeks, Matt Taul, and Jesse Vest. When they turned to an acoustic sound, they changed the name of the band, as well as added guitarist Todd Whitener.
