Where I'm Going Lyrics

I wouldn't know had you said that I've been gone
Lord only knows all the roads that I've been on
All that I've seen has brought nothing but sorrow
All I can be is in time that is borrowed
But where I'm going
Is nowhere that I've been before
And what you're doing
Is not something we can ignore
All of these lies that have come and taken toll
Caught in the eye, please don't ask why
I didn't know that our words could bring such harm
God only knows all the things that we've done wrong
Laid all the roads with all such good intentions
Still I am lost as I missed the connections
But where I'm going
Is nowhere that I've been before
And what you're doing
Is not something we can ignore

All of these lies that have come and taken toll
Caught in the eye, please don't ask why
Knowing would surely bring heartache
Maybe that's the way it should be
Nothing ever lasts forever
Buy where I'm going
Is nowhere that I've been before
And what you're doing
Is not something we can ignore
Where I'm going
Is nowhere that I've been
And what you're doing....

There are are at least two bands named Elephant Stone: 1. An indie pop band from Montreal, Canada.
2. An alternative rock band from Czestochowa, Poland
1. Just one short year after the release of their acclaimed, Polaris Music Prize-nominated debut The Seven Seas, Montreal’s Elephant Stone returns with The Glass Box EP. Shunning the convenience of modern digital recording, The Glass Box EP was recorded on a vintage Neve console (allegedly used by Led Zeppelin during the Physical Graffiti sessions) to a 16-track 2″ tape machine at Montreal’s infamous Breakglass Studios.
