Where We Stand Lyrics

Every generation has a past
I don't wanna be a soldier for the last
You don't have to sound extreme
To talk about what you think is trueI believe in right and wrong
And I believe that no one's born to loseI never thought that I'd find myself here
I never wanted to lie my life like this
If we go back to where we started
Will you give me all your heart again?I don't wanna break a promise
And this is where I stand
I've got fear in my body
But I don't know where to start
I've got fear in my body
But fire in my heart
I don't know where to start
Fear in my body
But fire in my in my heart

The swell of grassroots momentum for The Dirty Guv'nahs has generated considerable buzz up and down the East Coast recently. Their live shows are selling out venues and theatres from New York City to Florida, where fans pack in to experience a full-bore musical energy characteristic of The Avett Brothers, early Black Crowes, and The Rolling Stones. The group's unlikely genesis took place in their beloved hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee.
