Where Were You When I Was 17 Lyrics

Where were you when I was just 17?
Searching for you in each and every dream.
I needed you those wasted years between.
Where were you all of my life?Where were you when my life was still my own?
I could have loved you then, just you alone.
Now we must miss the love we could have known.
Where were you all of my life? Now we must meet in darkness
To play at love like a game,
Cuz we dont have the right to love,
It can only bring heartache and pain!Where were you when love was a burning flame?
I needed you then but you never came.
Youre in my arms now but its not the same.
Where were you all of my life?
