Whining Lyrics

I can't get the movie I want
The cool video store's too far away
It's raining out so I'll have to put up with
Blockbuster one more dayAnd sit through another plot
Chopped up letter boxed on my twelve inch screen
Tomorrow I'll continue with the same thing again
And I wish my life was effort freeWhining for what I want
Trying is just too hard
Trying is just too hard
Whining for what I wantI can't get the record I want
The indie shop's too far away
My brother lives in the city
He said he's going to tape it for me somedayIn the meanwhile, I'll listen to myself complain
Tomorrow, I'll continue with the same thing again
And what ain't right if you ask me
The best things in life you should come more easilyWhining for what I want
Trying is just too hard
Trying is just too hard

Whining for what I wantWhining for what I want
Trying is just too hard
Trying is just too hard
Whining for what I wantWhining for what I want
Trying is just too hard
Trying is just too hard
Whining for what I want

Formed in 1994 in Montreal, Quebec, the Planet Smashers’ infectious pop infused melodies, rippin’ horn licks and killer live shows, quickly established them as the city’s “Kings of Ska”. They released their first album (“Self-Titled”) on Planet Smasher’s founder Matt Collyer’s own label Stomp Records and hit the road. By 1997 they were no longer a local band, but a national phenomenon, headlining shows across Canada and pushing their second record, “Atttack of The Planet Smashers” which reached 2 on the national college radio charts for 2 months straight.
