Who Killed Rock 'n Roll Lyrics

The dj spins the records on wrko
But you must forgive him for the things he does not know
The world it has changed so much
Corporation damn my soulTell me who killed rock n roll
Tell me who killed rock n rollEveryday on mtv you can hear the same thing twice
Corporation brainwash put my mind into a vice
Jokers on the airwaves
Pretenders on the throneTell me who killed rock n roll
Tell me who killed rock n roll
Tell me who killed rock n rollZiggy play guitar for me
Give me my t-rex-tacy
These plastic gods and wannabe's
Will never blow my mindThe dj spins the records on wrko
And you must forgive him for the things he does not knowTell me who killed rock n roll
Tell me who killed rock n roll
Tell me who killed rock n roll
Tell me who killed rock n roll

George Alan O'Dowd (born June 14, 1961, in London, United Kingdom), a Irish/British singer, songwriter & DJ who gained fame with his group Culture Club during the 80s. He epitomized the term "blue-eyed soul" and received just as much airplay on R&B radio stations as pop stations. George's androgynous style caught the attention of music executive Malcolm McLaren, who arranged for George to perform with the group Bow Wow Wow, featuring Annabella Lwin, at various shows. George called himself Lieutenant Lush and nearly stole the spotlight from Lwin.
